John Blizzard

John Blizzard is President & Chief Executive Officer at Seattle Bank and is Founder and CEO of CD Valet, LLC a fintech incubated inside Seattle Bank.  John was appointed President and CEO of Seattle Bank in 2014 and in 2022 for the newly formed Seattle Bancshares, Inc. the bank holding company of Seattle Bank.  John has over 30 years of banking and financial services experience, including eight years with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle, most recently in the role of Chief Business Officer.  Previously, John served as the President & CEO of Northwest Bank.  Prior to that, John spent seven years at Seattle Mortgage Company, the predecessor firm to Seattle Bank.  He earned an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University, an MBA from Seattle University, and is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Pacific Coast Banking School.  John currently serves on the board of Pacific Coast Banking School.  John led the development of CD Valet, LLC, a nationwide marketplace for consumers to shop and invest in the best CD offerings across the country.  CD Valet uniquely offers the most comprehensive information on offerings by financial institutions with over 4,000 financial institutions and 40,000 CD offerings tracked.  To date over 5 million consumers have shopped on CD Valet.
