SungJe Byun

SungJe Byun is a Senior Research Economist in the Banking Supervision Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. His research focuses on banking, energy, and macroeconomics, with publications appearing in the European Economic Review, the Journal of Empirical Finance, and the Energy Journal. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and M.A. in Statistics from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Business Administration and Applied Statistics from Yonsei University.
