Tanya Paul

Tanya Paul is an assistant professor of accounting at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining Berkeley, Paul served as a post-doctoral fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Her research examines the intersection of taxation, banking, and competition in local financial markets. Her current work studies credit unions, banks, and accounting standards. Paul teaches Corporate Financial Reporting to MBA students. She received her Ph.D. in accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
