Citizens State Bank, Ouray, Co. President and CEO Alexander Price to Give Community Banker Keynote at 2025 CBRC

Alexander Price, President and CEO of Citizens State Bank (CSB) in Ouray, Colorado, will deliver the community banker keynote at the 2025 Community Banking Research Conference, held October 7–8 at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Co-sponsored by the Federal Reserve, the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the annual event brings together bankers, academics, regulators, and policymakers to explore the latest research and trends shaping the future of community banking.
Price leads Citizens State Bank, a locally owned institution headquartered in Ouray, CO that has served regional communities since 1913. He oversees operations across CSB’s seven-branch network and serves on the boards of both CSB and its holding company, CSBO Holdings, Inc.
He holds a BA in International Relations and Economics from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. His career spans public policy, technology, and banking—beginning in government as Economic Development and IT Policy Advisor to Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. He later transitioned to the private sector, where he held business development roles in industries ranging from software platforms to manufacturing and restaurant automation.
