Sydney Kim

Sydney Kim is a Ph.D. student in Accountancy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her main research interests are in the areas of banking, human capital, ESG, and textual analysis. Prior to joining the doctoral program, she was a junior macroeconomic analyst at a government think tank in Korea. She also worked as an equity analyst in an investment bank in Seoul, Korea. She received her master's degree in Development Policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, and bachelor's degree in Management Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
